Selena Gomez: Red Hot in Dolce & Gabbana at Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Actress Selena Gomez attends the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscars after party in a stunning floor-length Dolce & Gabbana godess gown. The star was a vision in red and was put together perfectly by stylist Basia Richards. Notice the matching gold detail of her beautiful Lorraine Schwartz earrings and bracelet  crystallized red and gold Judith Leiber clutch. Although she is only 18 years old, I feel like she is a veteran on the red carpet. Fashion forward every time!

Glee's Lea Michele: Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Cavalli

'Glee' actress Lea Michele stepped onto the red carpet last night (February 27) at the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar party in Los Angeleswearing a blue sequined Roberto Cavalli gown and Sergio Rossi heels. She completed the look with a Swarovski clutch and Lorraine Schwartz Jewelry.

I get where she was going with this dress but it just doesn't work with her figure. Since her body isn't curvy enough, this silhouette only further emphasizes her boyish shape instead of adding curves. I always look forward to seeing what she will wear on the red carpet because she generally nails it but this dress is just all wrong on her. She gets an A for effort though and the makeup and jewels are beautiful.

Jessica Biel: Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Gold Versace

Actress Jessica Beil walks the red carpet at the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscars party following the 83rd Annual Academy Awards on February 27, 2011. The star wore a partly sheer Versace gown that clinged to her body in all the right places and especially emphasized her tiny waist.  The beautiful frock looks like its been custom made for her figure. Love the choice!

2011 Oscars: Camilla Alves in Kaufman Franco

Another one of my favorites of the night was Camilla Alves wearing a black princess-like Kaufman Franco ball gown. The plunging neckline was extremely sexy and the cinched waist emphasized her svelt figure. I love the contrast of the sexy top half  and conservative yet dramatic puffy skirt. Dresses like this prove that with the right cut, a black dress can be more of a statement than a bright color. Well done!

Hilary Swank: Gorgeous in Gucci at 2011 Academy Awards

Oscar award winner Hilary Swank brushes the carpet at the 2011 Oscar Awards with the train of her beautiful Gucci Premiere dress. The number was quite similar in silhouette to Halle Berry's strapless Marchesa ball gown. Hilary's featured a bodice made up fully of sequins on the upper half and feathered detailing on the bottom half while Halle's was a mixture of mesh, chiffon, and beading. Both were soft, feminine, and stunning!
